Stepping Stones Kitchen
We at Stepping Stones Nursery work in conjunction with the Healthy Sustainable School Schemes. We have an onsite chef who freshly prepares all meals. Menus are set on 4 weekly basis and are revised according to seasons.
All dietary requirements are catered for.
The children are involved with cooking on a daily basis, making snacks, i.e. sandwiches, cakes, decorating biscuits, making fruit cocktails
- All sauces used for curries, korma, bolognaise, pasta’s etc. are FSA approved.
- No salt is added to any meals and products provided are low in salt and FSA / IFA Approved.
- Where fruit and vegetables are listed, these are seasonal and can vary.
- Water is given for a drink at lunchtime, to follow Government Dental Guidelines.
Awarded Level 5 food aware in latest environmental health inspection.
